Slab Preparation
Slabs on grade, deck and exterior flatwork all have different requirements for preparation. We will perform the following based on your project:
- Install vapor barrier - any type from 4ml poly to 20 ml specialty vapor barriers, taping seams and provide for penetrations
- Install wire mesh / rebar and accessories
- Install premolded joint filler
- Box out columns and form edges / bulkheads as necessary
- Install load transfer embedments as required
- Install construction joints
- Install underslab insulation
Slab Placement
We can pour thousands of square feet per day by power screed, pump, or laser screed. Concrete Construction Associates will meet your FF/FL numbers as specified.
Whether your slab calls for a burned finish, broom finish, or hand trowel, we will provide you with a quality finish with attention to detail. We install basement and floor slabs.
Post Placement
We will provide the following services as needed:
- Saw cut control joints
- Spray-on curing / wet curing
- Joint sealant
- Hardening / dustproofing and sealing
